There are about 60 flavors to choose from.
Luckily you cannot have all the flavors in every
ice cream parlor. In 2006 we’ve visited the
original plant in Waterbury,
Vermont. It’s fun to visit. You get a tour
of the plant , you can taste the ice cream
they’re making that day and you’re free to walk
around the domain. They even have a cemetery to
bury the discontinued flavors. The tombstones
are tremendously. And of course there’s a store
and an ice cream parlor, where they do have all
the flavors. Pfffff, what difficult choices to
make. The amazing thing about Ben & Jerry’s is
that two guys started making ice cream in a
small trailer. They weren’t that good at
school, they followed a course for making ice
cream and they started “Ben and Jerry’s”, named
after themselves. Now in 2008, Ben & Jerry’s
exists 30 years and is a famous international
brand.
