A trip to the Hard Rock Café of Amsterdam
several years ago, made me (Sally) a real fan of
Elvis. Peter already knew a lot of songs of
Elvis, I only knew a few songs. But that trip
has changed me. In the meantime we have a lot of
music, documentaries, books and movies about
Elvis. And in 2003 we’ve visited his place of
birth, the schools he went to, the Sun Studios
and of course Graceland.
The visit to Graceland made a deep impression on
us.
All kinds of people from young to old lined up
to visit Graceland, all the things he
accomplished and still is. It’s so unbelievable
how many golden records and awards he got for
the album "ELV1S, 30 #1 Hits".
One room full….. You have to see it, before you
believe it. When, some day, we’re in the
neighborhood again of Memphis we’ll go back to
visit Graceland once more.
